<-------Also loves chicken!

Nella, I get the Hunts Handi Snacks sugar-free puddings....but the Jello brand has more of a flavor variety so I may need to switch to those for a while! My go-to "sweet" snack for a long time now has been Blue Bunny no sugar added fudge bars...45 calories apiece and they're not the size of a normal "low calorie" ice cream bar - these guys are a decent size!!
I also love, love, love chicken....I could eat it every day at least once. The call of the chocolate has just been overpowering recently. Maybe my body is craving REAL sugar since I cut it out of my diet entirely a long time ago? Who knows... Not a SINGLE snack other than those planned yesterday! Going for day two today! |
The entire story of my weight gain from 165 to 193 pounds in about 18 months could be summed up in 3 words: "mindless eating" + "denial".
With that in mind, I write down everything that I eat. I know that if I stop writing it down, I will start lying to myself. It sounds as if you were falling into that same pattern. However, you were self-aware enough to realize what was happening and by posting it here, you are saying you are ready to stop. Plus there has been some really good responses to your post. So I have a feeling that those Hershey's treats are already less of a problem for you. |
2 1/2 days...NO SNACKS! I think I just needed to see it in writing, admit what I'm doing and reaffirm that I do NOT need them....

Woo Mindi!
I find myself doing this same thing. 50 cals here, 30 cals there, 100 cals over there... a few skittles, a hersheys kiss, a soft corn tortilla heated in the the microwave while I'm cooking... adds up... I've gotten back to logging everything and it was a little surprising. |
