Calorie Count w/fastfood
Hey everyone,
Is there anyone who has been successfully counting calories that mainly come from fastfood or store bought food. Because of my time/budget right now, its been easier for me to plan my food intake by looking at the online nutrition menus and counting that way. Ofcourse ive found that i have to stick to more of the "healthier" choices but i have been able to stick in my range of 1300 - 1500. I just wanted to know if anyone has successfully followed a calorie counting plan doing this. Thanks everyone for your input. :) |
Yes :) Mainly because I'm addicted to fast food and lazy LOL :P I've just started blogging about this and am building some tools to track this as well..I hope to share this stuff soon. The challenge is in picking the right foods. Since so much of the fast food is fried it's very high in calories and fat. You often have to dig for "grilled" foods. Also one thing I haven't been keeping track of is sodium, which can also be very high in fast food. You really have to dig to find the healthy items.
