Hi everyone! I will give you a brief synopsis of my crazy dieting history. Seven years ago, I did calorie counting and lost 26 pounds to almost reach my goal weight. Then life happened and I gained the weight back and then some. Five years ago, I did the SBD and I did very well on it. Then I proceeded to have a baby and then another and finally a third (all of them within just over three years). Needless to say this took a toll on my body and I gained a significant amount of weight. Since the birth of my last son, I have unsuccessfully tried to lose weight on the SBD. It just doesn't seem to fit in my lifestyle anymore. So, I have decided that I need something with a bit more flexibility. Since I did so well with calorie counting in the past, I decided to try it again. After perusing, I have joined fitday.com. I am hoping this will help keep me on track.
Now, who I am. I am a 36 year old SAHM to three wonderful boys (ages 4, 3, and 1). In my previous life (pre kids), I was a teacher for children with special needs. I have been married to a wonderful man for 6 years now (although we have known each other for almost 28 years). I am determined to lose the weight so I can run around and do more active things with my VERY ACTIVE boys.
