|
There isn't anything specific. Its just like counting calories, you can anything as long as you count the calories.

Just started!
I just started on mine and this is what I'm following:
Monday: 1280 Tuesday: 1280 Wednesday: 1536 Thursday: 1280 Friday: 1280 Saturday: 1408 Sunday: 1280 I got these numbers on one of those online calculators. I'm hoping for good results. So far so good :) |
There have been studies done and by legitimate universities, too. You can find them in the book or website by Dr Johnson--put JUDDD in the google box. There is a recent video done by Horizon (for BBC, I believe) which you can watch on youtube. It is an hour long program which starts out about alternate day fasting, but continues on to discuss lower days and higher days. Includes bloodwork, experiments etc that show how the host lost weight, improved bloodwork as it relates to aging, cancer, diabetes etc.
I have tried calories cycling, carb cycling and JUDDD. It does work. Re: Samantha...biology, metabolism and weight loss are a lot more complicated than textbook theories might imply. There are more factors than just calories in, calories out. Insulin resistance, metabolism, thyroid, hormones, age and more are at part of the equation. |
I don't really calorie cycle as much as I cycle macros? I'll eat low fat for two weeks or so, then have a really high fat meal and that seems to help.
I'm horribad with math, so when I did calorie cycle I would get tripped up. |
