I'm also a nighttime eater and I deal with it by allotting more of my calories for later in the day. I track my calories during the day and make sure that I save 500 or so calories for dinner/after dinner.
There's a diet called the 'Warrior diet' that promotes eating one big meal at night. You can graze on fruit or veggies if you are hungry during the day. I'm not doing this, but it seems to work for a lot of people. |
I second the cut off time. I have a problem with binging though. And I would worry that the one snack will turn into 8 or something...I stop eating usually by 8 pm.
