I'm officially starting tomorrow, today I've bought in readiness the Colins book of Calories, which is a useful tool for any calorie counters over here in the UK and a pedometre to help get me moving. I've discovered that I've been eating around 2315.3 calories per day and that just consuming 2000 a day will cause a steady weight loss, of around 1 to 2lb a week. That is to begin with, of course as the weight comes off I'll have to lower the amount of calories I eat.
So I've decided to allow myself a maximum of 2000 calories a day and a minimum of 1,500, for the next 4 weeks. I plan to weigh myself once a week on a Wednesday morning.
