Thank you all for your responses.
TMG2009 My normal breakfast is around 200-300 calories Nutrigrain waffles (140) sf syrup .5 of 1/4 cup (17) 3 oz strawberry (27) light and fit yogurt (80) total-264 snack- A bag of winkly sugar free jello (45) Lunch - Frozen meal 180-300 calories. steamed veggies usually around 280 Total total 589 I eat 1300-1400 a day So most of my calories are left for the night. I know if it my fault mainly but my kids are extremely picky. my two oldest kids do not eat any type of sauce. they do not eat veggies besides corn and that is after many nice of forcing them to sit at the table till they had eaten it. Plenty of cleaning up "throw up" at the table, where you eventually just cant take it anymore. My youngest two will eat their salads. my 3 year old loves lettuce. It's just really hard, I was very picky as a child and learn to like foods as i grew older. I haded having to sit at the table till i finished something i did not like. It never made me like it. Plus I can not have my children go without. I just don't believe in it..It's too hard for me. I just wish I could start over and change the way i did things..But that is not going to happen.. |

Even better than fat free ranch, buy some low fat plain yogurt (it tastes better than FF) and mix it with a little bit of powdered ranch flavoring. Voila! Yummy guilt-free veggie dip. Thin it out with a little milk and you have a decent salad dressing. I've gotten so used that how my "ranch dressing" tastes that I can't stand the bottled stuff. Good luck! |

You seem to eat a lot of processed foods. The sodium can stall your weight loss, especially if you don't get enough water. (I eat processed foods too... but I'm trying to cut back) Maybe throw in a piece of fruit here and there, and maybe some nuts and get some more calories during the day for a snack instead of 45 cal of jello. 45 calories for a snack isn't much, and probably won't curb your hunger long enough. I also like LF cheesesticks...still processed, but not much and it has some protein for staying power. |
