Cookoff tomorow!!!

My husband and 3 other of his friends have occasional "cookoffs" where they pick something and they all make their version of it. This time it's hot sandwiches. I'm a little nervous because It's been a month since I started counting calories and I'm nervous about it. I had two ideas....either eat very few calories that day up until the cookoff or eat before I go so that I only need a "bite" of each one. What would you all do in this situation?:dizzy:

Both!!! I would eat high volume low calorie foods that day, and have a big green tossed salad with fat-free dressing and two glasses of water before I left the house. Then I would really pick and choose what I ate, and I would account for EVERYTHING!!!

You can do this!!!

I'd eat a normal but smaller breakfast and lunch. And then just cut a small square of each sandwich (so that your total amount equals 1 sandwich) to try.

Bring some veggies or a big salad to the cook-off to share with everyone - I'm sure other people will appreciate that as well, and it will fill your plate up.

I'd cut my sammy in half and eat it with a salad or a plate of veggies....what time is this cookoff? :)

The nice thing about it is that each couple shares a sandwich because there are 4 of them to try. So I think I'll just eat only half of my half. But I think I will try to eat a small amount before I go so that I don't let myself eat more than I plan.
