I used to be the same way, but I am getting to like cardio now. I bought an eliptical machine about 3 weeks ago an I do it everyday. I think working out everyday is almost like an addiction.

I can't believe I had never thought of doing only some parts of 30DS. Most days I do my cardio on the treadmill, then dread having Jillian yell at me about doing high knees. Yesterday I was inspired by your post to just do strength and abs with her and it was exactly what I needed!

Glad to help! As much as I love Jillian screeching at me, my old knees (topped off with my big booty) just cant take her jumping jacks. This morning, my abs are sore, so I know THAT's working at least.

However crappy I eat sometimes, at least I can say that I'm consistent with exercise :D. I alternate between 2 Leslie Sansone walking DVDs - one 2 mile Walk and Firm (with resistance band interval training of walking and firming) and 3 Fast Miles (which uses a walk belt). I also try to do yoga as often as I can, although lately it's been only a few times a week. I have a feeling I'm going to be doing more, though, because I have a lot of stress coming up with job stuff so I'll need a way to get the stress out!

I workout 5x per week.

M, T, T, and F are 30-40minutes on the elliptical and one day I do the treadmill for something different, followed by about 20minutes or so of weight training. Wednesday I do a 45minute Zumba class followed by light weights.

I am working my way up to 1 hour daily on my treadmill.

My exercise routine

I have a mini trampoline that I use during the day before dinner or on and off if I am in the apartment on the weekends. I try it for 15 minutes while watching t.v. or listening to the radio (upbeat music). I do put up a sweat!! I have to gradually add minutes. For instance, the first week is just 10 minutes tops, second week 15, and so on. Of course, listening to your body is very important, and drinking lots of water is another. Although I keep the mini trampoline out in the small living room of the apartment, it can be easily hidden under a bed or behind the sofa. :carrot:

P.S. I meant to add that I also go to the fitness center three times a week. I am slow on any machine and cannot use all of the machines due to injuries and problems with my left knee. I belong to Curves center.

I do about four days of cardio and two-three days of weight lifting. I workout at home.

Lately i've been taking two rest days a week and im really enjoying the time off...

Most mornings I try to take a 2 mile walk around the neighborhood with the double jogger. My kids are around 33 lbs and 18 lbs so that's a lot of weight I'm pushing. I'd do more, but that walk wipes me.

I hope to start doing after dinner walks too. And 2 days a week I do full body weights.

Botzz 10-15-2009 02:48 PM

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I do.

20 minutes on a stationary bike.
30 minutes on a treadmill 3.5 mph somewhere between a 3 and 5% grade depending on how I am feeling.
lift weights 3 of those days along with the 50 minutes of cardio, I am usually at the gym for about an hour and a half to an hour and 45 mins per go.

those are gym days.

The off days that I cannot get to the gym its a bike ride or walk around the lake ;)
