What restaurant is good?

What is everyone's favorite restaurant to go to? What do you get that is yummy and good calories? I'm taking my son to dinner tonight since my hubby is having guys night at the house tonight. I was thinking Subway is safe...any other ideas?:?:

don't know where you are but I like to go to Sonny's
turkey lunch portion 77 cal
green beans 95 cal
corn on the cob 160 cal I think.
with mustard sauce.

Subway is good too either black forest ham or tukey

Do you have a Mongolian BBQ nearby? They're really fun and can be as healthy as you want them to be.

Applebees has some WW entrees on their menu. Chili's has a Guiltless Grill section.

I love Chipotle and it is usually my most 'diet friendly' place I go. Panera has some good options including their veggie soup and black bean soup. Although they don't seem to understand the concept of 'no cheese' on their veggie sandwich which is one reason I haven't been there in a while.

Honestly I like Arbies though they lack in the veggie department and Taco Bell though you have to be able to limit yourself to just a few items or 1 larger one. Most fast food chains have nutritional information available. For sit down restaurants I like Olive Garden but I make sure to allot out my breadsticks first.

I like going to Extreme Pita, it's a bit like subway but with pitas, and any pita you can turn into a "flat baked pita" which instead of a wrap is more like a pizza ! I usually get their buffalo chicken pita.

I usually pick Applebees because of the WW menu. I'm mad at Chili's for deleting the lettuce wraps from their menu, because that was my favorite low cal item there. Olive garden has the Apricot Chicken entree (you just have to ignore the breadsticks and request the salad dressing on the side). Any good seafood restaurant is a great choice for grilled fresh fish and steamed veggies, and I love sashimi so Japanese is good too (I just go easy on the rice).

Applebee's is terrible for vegetarians; they single thing on the menu besides salad for a vegetarian is a veggie burger; ho hum. We like P.F. Chang's; you can even get brown rice there. Ruby Tuesday is good for their baked potatoes and salad bar.

I vote for Ruby Tuesday's. I love their salad bar... you could make a meal out of the salad itself. They also have fairly small portions compared to other restaurants. One time I was there, I just got a salad and their white chicken chili (or something like that), and it was really good, satisfying and totally healthy.
