Delicious low-cal recipe for a sweet tooth
I love sweets, so here is a simple recipe for those who still need a little something now and then:
In a bowl mix: 1/4 cup of soft light blue bonnet- 200 calories 1/4 cup of flour- 100 calories 1/4 cup of sugar- 60 calories 1/4 cup of cocoa- 60 calories 1 egg- 70 calories spray a microwaveable cereal bowl so it doesn't stick put in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes The whole thing has 490 calories, and we split it into 4 pieces, so 123 calories for 1/4th of it, and it is delicious!:carrot: |
Hm, I just cheat and use a pouch of the store bought brownie mix and instead of adding oil, I use unsweetened applesauce (1/4 cup in this case). The mix I use from Walmart has 120 calories unprepared per serving (and the pouch makes 9 brownies in an 8x8" pan), so the egg adds about 8 calories, the applesauce adds 3, for a total of 131.

Haha, seriously? That's cool. I haven't seen anyone else on here from the eastern shore until now I don't think!

I tend to get lazy and spring for Vitabrownies when I'm in need of a delicious fix, but your recipe seems fairly simple. I might give it a try, thanks!

I have done away with alot of baked items but I love to make mousse.
1 pkg sugar free pudding (we used white chocolate last night) 2 cups skim milk 1/2 cup lite cool whip We topped the white chocolate with berries. This is a fav for my family. You can do all types of things with it like make parfaits, pies, triffles (i use angel food cake). |
Blue Bonnet Light sticks of margarine, and I microwave it just until it is soft, not melted. Sorry for the confusion.

I just discovered, Chocolate Special K with 1 cup of nonfat Vanilla yogurt instead of milk. It's sweet and chocolatey, crunchy and creamy, and fairly healthy as far as those things go and 300 calories isn't terrible if you eat it as a treat meal, and for a dessert you could totally just eat half of it.
