Talking CC Easter Challenge!

Time for a new challenge!

Here's what to do: Set a goal for the next 8 weeks. It can be any goal you want: like lose a certain number of pounds, fit into those smaller jeans, reach a new fitness goal, or just stay OP (on plan) with food/water/exercise. Whatever motivates you to keep on with your healthier lifestyle.

Post your goal here, then come back to report in on your progress, get a if you need it, make new friends, and your victories along the way.

Good luck, challengers! Let's do this thing!

Woohoo, I remembered the smiley icon and everything this time!

For this challenge, I'm going to start with a mini goal that I've been battling with for a while: getting out of the 180s! When I reach that goal, assuming it doesn't take me 8 weeks to do it, I'll set another goal for the rest of the challenge. I want that 179 in a bad way!

Well fiddlestix! I was writing a nice long post and my puter decided to freeze up on me. I'll try again...

Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine's Day! I hope it's been a great day, whatever you have been doing. It was a blur of a day here. Started with a playdate at a local indoor bouncy type place. The boys played hard and nonstop while I chased them around. Then is was lunch at a fav diner of ours - healthy for me of course. After lunch I hit the gym for cardio. Then it was off to buy a new couch and kitchen table. Somewhere in there we also moved our furniture around to get the family room set up for the new stuff. It was 8pm before we were back home eating dinner and then putting the overly tired kids to bed. This is the first night in ages the big one hasn't given me any issue going to sleep. They were both so tired they could barely stand. In general the sleep issues are improving slightly. Still a bit of a fuss getting to bed each night, but he's sleeping through the night a lil more often. I think the room darkening blinds have helped.

All the pup pics were so cute!! FB - may I ask what happened to you little chi that he now is one-eyed?

I am sad to say I didn't make my Valentine's day challenge goal. I was aiming for 15 pounds. However, I am happy to report that I lost 12 pounds! 13 if I go with yesterday's weight. I'm pretty darn happy about every pound I lose, but I do like to meet my goals!

As for Easter....I think I'll set a goal of 13 pounds...which will put me at 235! A weight that I haven't seen since I was 18 years old!!!!

I think I'm going to close my eyes...it will take me about 2 seconds to fall asleep tonight. I'm beat.

Night Friends! Catch ya tomorrow!

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day!! My SO had to work so my parents and I took the little guy to the Y to swim for a while. I did my UPWO and 5 miles on the bike!! Then me and my SO went out for dinner every where was sooooo busy so we went to the local truck stop!! They have really really good homemade food though so it was worth it.

I am not going to set a number goal this time. My goal is to stay OP from now until Easter. Working out 4-5 times a week and staying OP with food. The number on the scale will just be a bonus!!

Have a great Sunday CC Chickies!! And here's to another good challenge!!

Well, now I feel like a dork. I got on the scale this morning and it said 179.8! I said, "get the frick out!" But after about 22 more weigh-ins, it still said that. I'd gotten so used to it bouncing back up, that yesterday's lowish weight didn't even get me excited, but it went down this time! Well, I've met my Easter goal and can just relax and eat cupcakes now....

hahaha...ha...er...nevermind.

Lori, so glad to see you over here! Hope you enjoy this challenge. 209 is a great number to shoot for!

RFS, congrats on your weight loss so far, and welcome to the challenge!

Barb, I'm glad to hear the boy is sleeping better! Clearly, all you have to do is drive him around all day and have him move some furniture! Easy! WTG on the 13 lbs last time!

FB, are you feeling any better today? I know the sick fairy has been good to you on the scale, but I think it's time for you to get better and break some lifting records or something! I already know you're gonna make that goal weight!

Angel, glad you are enjoying the Y membership and the workouts! 5 miles on the bike...can I just say ? The bike kills me!

So, I need a real Easter goal now, but what??? I'm kinda skerred to set a number goal, cuz it about drove me batty last time. My weight just fluctuates a lot with my workouts, so I will think about it. Maybe I can set some fitness goals that I want to accomplish before Easter.

I'm always on these calorie counter boards, but I rarely ever post. But now I have a reason to: at the end of March I have to be measured for a bridesmaid's dress! My goal for CC Easter is 128 lbs...9-10 lbs more or less. I have been slacking for about a month so I gained a pound or two.

CC Easter Challenge: 0/10 lbs

After the excitement of hitting the Valentine's Day goal, I am ready for the Easter Challenge!!! Haha....I think my goal is going to be at 190 lbs even by Easter (if not lower!) So, that's about 9 pounds to lose.
