Hi Chicks! I'm late to the party, but I want to join in. I'm at 141 with a goal of 135. My rate of weight loss has slowed in the last month or so, probably because I'm so close to goal. But I'm pretty sure that I can make goal by June 21st. . . . and I can use the motivation of the Slimmer by Summer Challenge. It will keep me on plan while traveling for work for two weeks where I'll be eating out most meals every day.

I've got a tiny bit of progress. It's my TOM, so I was lucky enough that the scale went down .2. It was up to 186.6 the last bunch of days, but it went down a little from my actual weight of last week. I'm happy to see it going downward. I just can't wait to get out of 185! I've been stuck at 185/186/187 for toooo long. Excited to reach 15 lbs lost in a few weeks.

Hi yall! I decided to step on the scale at the gym today and it read 220! I usually weigh myself there so maybe the docs scale is a little off, or I really did lose 3 pounds since Tuesday! It would be awesome to see 219 by my usual Monday weigh in!

I think I am down about 5 lbs since last weekend. Though on Thursday I traveled a 6 hour drive and had to eat something which means fast food. I don't think it affected me though.

I myself have just started, and summer is almost two months away, so LOTS of time to get going. Unfortunately this week didn't go so well AT ALL, but today I'm doing a body cleanse to just clean out my system, and tomorrow will be the true beginning of my "get it right, get it tight" campaign. Also, I made the costumed ladies my desktop screensaver, just to remind myself multiple times per day what I'm gonna be wearing in three months :fr: Hey, I can do it! Yes I can! |

Hi all! I'm new to the site and have yet to join a challenge so I'd like to give it a shot. I've got a little under 2 months but I'd like to shoot for 20 lbs by 6/21. I've been calorie counting for almost a month and lost 10 pounds but I only started exercising about 2 weeks ago so I hope to be consistent with the exercise and that will boost me along!

Slimmer by Summer! Yes, I can do this! I will be a total of 16 pounds lighter by June 21. I started Atkins last week and have lost 3 more pounds. I have 8 pounds to go to meet my challenge by June 21.
It would be more than fabulous if I could come close to my "lose 10% of body weight" goal by that time. I would have to lose 18 more pounds (26 pounds total) to meet the goal, and I don't know if that's possible. But at least I'll be well on my way. I can do this! How is POP going for you? I'm thinking that I need to get POP too--it seems that the closer I get to my goal, the more "liberal" I get with my eating, and the longer it takes to reach my goal. Renewed committment with being POP might be the answer. |
Well I still have another 13 pounds to go to hit my goal. Can I make it? I have no idea. It's what a month and a half? *sigh*

I may not hit 185, but I know I will be under 200 by June 21st. I hit a wall and now it's time to get back into my healthy conscience mode.
