Just weighed in, lost 2 lbs last week.

We can all do this!!! Even if we don't meet the goals we set for June 21st, we will all keep plugging along.

Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats on your losses, Km, angel, cj wormwood and anyone else I may have missed! :-)Sorry I didn't check in on Monday, my baby has had a stomach bug and I wasn't able to get to the gym to weigh in until yesterday. I weighed in at 207 which is good, but I was expecting more because I didn't have a loss last week. I figured it would all fall off at once but, I'll take it! As for the challenge, I don't know if I can lose 8 more pounds in 18 days. I guess my goal to lose 26 pounds for this challenge was a little unrealistic, but I'll keep trying!

Congratulations! I made it out of the 200's about 2 and a half weeks ago... I'm still aiming for my ultimate goal of getting to 175 (what I used to weigh last year - still fat, but closer!) by the END of the summer. It's looking like I might make it. I am at 191 since my last weigh in on Monday and will weigh in again 2 weeks after that.

A HUGE congratulations to wormwooddoll and megwini for reaching ONEDERLAND! And Sunkisses, you're almost there! I cannot wait until I get there. I am planning a big trip as a reward, I'm trying to decide where in the world I want to go.

Are you planning anything to celebrate?

Thanks megwini, they feel pretty good

Weightloss has slowed down considerably from the initial losses. I just weighed myself and last week I lost a little under 2 lbs. I shouldn't be, but I'm slightly irritated because I was doing 2 a day workouts because I really wanted to start losing faster again....oh well, at least I'm losing. I know I'll continue to lose, even if it's not as fast as I want to.
Hope everyone's week is starting off well!

Congrats megwini and wormwooddoll on reaching ONEDERLAND! I can't wait to join you guys!

I am amazed at how fast you're losing, Km25! You're really doing quite well considering you don't have much to lose. I heard it comes off much slower when you have less to lose.

CJzee, I kind of already have my reward planned even if I don't make it there by that exact date. The 21st is my husband's birthday so we're going out on the town without the kids. I am going to have my hair cut and highlights done this week, and a facial (mothers day gift) next week. I am planning on splurging on a cute top, too. I really want some trendy new jeans, but I don't want to buy another pair in this size since I am so close to moving into a 14. All of my 14's are so out of style since I haven't worn them in nearly 7 yrs. Just a few more pounds and I should no longer have a camel toe and a humongous muffin top in em.

I weighed in today and I am at 205. I just don't think I will be able to shed 6 more pounds in 2 weeks as it seems like I am averaging around a 2 lb loss every week if I don't cheat excessively. I am heading into TOM territory so I am going to try not to let it mess with my head as the scale goes all wonky. I wish I could just stay away from it all together, but that sucker haunts me as soon as I walk into the gym. :::Sigh:::

Congrats, amy, you're almost there! By the time my own Slimmer by End of Summer (school-year summer, so August 20th-ish) ends, this thread will probably already be dead. Oh well.

Sunkisses, 2 pounds a week is a great rate! You weigh 205 right now, correct? So, as you probably already know, for you losing about 2.05 pounds a week would be 1% of your body mass and the healthiest way to do it. I think you're doing great! Fabulous job. ^0^

Congrats to everyone who has lost since I posted last!!! I can't believe how much everyone is losing.

I've gone down .2, which puts me at 181.6. I need to start exercising again! I took a few weeks off. I think I'm ready to start again, especially since I lost some inches and I'm noticing that my arms are toning up. Don't want to lose that new muscle!

I'm hoping I'll lose more because of the good weather and less clothing. All I need is for my air conditioning to be set up and then I can exercise any time I want!! I almost wanted to give up, but then today I realized that I've lost 18 pounds so far! Even though I've lost that over 7 months, I can't stop, because every little thing counts. Have to keep going. Eventually I'll get there, and at least I CAN lose weight.

megwini: I'll keep posting in this thread until the end of summer because I'm going to still try to lose during the summer. So, you won't be entirely alone here.

Well, I'll be here til the end of summer too Maybe we can start a new one and make it "beginning of school year challenge"
Angelsdust - just think, that's 18 lbs less than you would have been if you'd done nothing at all.

That's exactly how I'm thinking, especially since today I lost .4! That's .8 in two days! I barely exercised. I tried last night but it was very hot and had to quit. My legs were getting itchy. But I'll try again tonight.

Next summer I had planned a vacation with my mom and brother. We wanted to go somewhere sunny and beautiful, like Hawaii. Somewhere really nice. I wanted to be at my goal weight and nicely toned up by then. But today I was doing calculations and at my least amount of weight I could lose by then (around 3lbs a month), I wouldn't be ready! I want to make some charts today (I'm organized!) to see how much I would need to lose by then. I like to find out how much, realistically, I could lose and then the least amount. I usually lose the least amount. But I try for the high amount!

I'll keep posting until the end, too. My actual goal was 170-175 by the end of summer. Hopefully I'll get there!
