I didn't realize there are so many others with this issue. My husband & I are the same height also, but is much more fit than I am (he climbs around on bridges all day). I HATE it that I've gained this weight and now I'm larger than him. It makes me feel awkward. In fact, I don't think my weight would bother me so much if I'd married a "big guy". I won't even tell him how much I weigh (not yet!).

And it isn't him... he never makes me feel unattractive. He's very kind and supportive. The issue is all mine. But, that's good because I'm the one who has to fix it.

Willow, congratulations for now weighing less than your husband. I've read a lot of your threads and your success is very inspirational. I have to ask... do you ride that motorcycle yourself? We have a Harley... I really want to look better riding on the back of it. It's part of my motivation.

Yeppers, she is ALL mine. my husband bought her for me last Feb for an anniversary present. she is a yamaha v-star 650 named Willow :)

I'm 5'8 and weigh about 290, he's 6'4 and weighs about 180, so I've got some work to do before I'm there.
