How do you find out or figure how many fat grams you should be eating a day. Is it a percentage of the number of calories you eat each day or is there a "standard" amount that you shouldn't go over?
Are you wanting to know the amount of fat grams per day to LOSE weight or to maintain? Ive been researching this too and find all sorts of different answers............

Your fat grams are going to depend on how many calories you are eating per day.
I try to eat about 30% (or slightly less) of my calorie intake in fat. To estimate this in an easy way through your day, think of 3 fat grams per 100 calories.
So, if you eat 1500 calories a day, then that would be 45 fat grams a day. If you eat 1200 a day, that would be 36 fat grams a day, and so on.
