How many fat grams should you be eating a day?

  • Your fat grams are going to depend on how many calories you are eating per day.

    I try to eat about 30% (or slightly less) of my calorie intake in fat. To estimate this in an easy way through your day, think of 3 fat grams per 100 calories.

    So, if you eat 1500 calories a day, then that would be 45 fat grams a day. If you eat 1200 a day, that would be 36 fat grams a day, and so on.
