weight of fat calories when counting calories
I've recently started to get myself back on track, couting calories and exercising considering in december I gained back the 10 pounds I lost this summer, going back from 150 to 160.
I created a livestrong account and I understand calorie counting for the most part but how should one consider the "fat calories" and how much of that should make up your daily intake? |
Are you logging your calories on the daily plate or similar program?
They will give you your recommended fat/carb/protein percentages and help you track where you are for the day, it even comes up as a pie chart. Mind you, everyone's "suggestion" is different and I aim for about DOUBLE the protein they recommend, so I stay satiated. I just looked and I am at 58g of fat for the day, which is 88% of my recommended daily value :) HTH a little. |

wait, I think I found it... the "percent of dail value" under the two charts combined. Thank you.

right under where you list all your food there are your totals.
you might see fat- 36g, 55% of daily value. click on the 36g and it'll tell you how many more fat grms you can have. add the grams together and you have your total fat grams! |
