So for the whole snack it's about 120 cals and 4g of fat. So that prepackaged thing at WM is CRAZY! I'm sure it's the pretzel chips that provide all the fat and there is definitely more than 1 serving of hummus in there. Hummus is ground chick peas, lemon juice, olive oil, tahini (sesame seed), etc. Sometimes garlic, pepper or other flavoring is added.. It basically tastes like all of the ingredients it's made from. :]
You should definately try it. My favorite is "Luscious Lemon" by the La Sabra brand. Athenos is okay. I've even made my own once and it came out delicious. You could always look up recipes for it, too. |
