Well I eat bologna everyday and its not the low fat kind . . . I usually get beef but i accidently got chicken last time but its not too bad. It has about 9g of fat in it and it hasn't affected my weightloss yet. I just try to watch my sodium and meet my calorie requirements for fat carbs and protein.

I eat bologna a lot too....it's one of the few lunch meats I like (Just bologna and turkey). I know that the sodium is high, but if you take that into account when planning out meals and whatnot, it shouldn't be that disastrous.

Sausage = ground remains unsuitable for normal consumption stuffed into intestine.

But it sure makes a tasty sandwich. I like bologna and salami - I buy the turkey versions of both, and they're pretty darn good. I buy Butterball's - it's 60 calories and 4.5 g fat per serving. It's not as wonderfully low as Oscar Meyer's, but I like the texture alot more.

I too have eaten bologna before while counting calories- just drink and extra glass of water or two to balance out the extra sodium

My favorite is Foster Farms Turkey meat only 20 cals per slice!
