Okay I weight 314 pounds and my sister weights 300 so about how many calories do we need to eat a day to lose weight?

Pop on over to the calorie counters board and read the stickies at the top. There's tons of information and good resources there. You can also do a Google search for "calorie calculator" and come up with a BUNCH of links. I use the one at http://www.freedieting.com .. but there are others everywhere.

Just keep in mind that the numbers you get are an estimate. Every one is a little different and while they give you a good starting point, you'll probably have to tweak things to suit your personal situations as you go along.
