Traveling...scale??

I am going to be traveling to Mexico in a few weeks to an all inclusive. I want to be able to enjoy myself but maintain my weight while doing so. To do this, I've decided that I'm just going to bring my scale with me. However, I am wondering if there is a "travel scale" that is lighter and easier to fit in a suitcase. Does anybody know of a good one? Am I totally crazy for wanting to bring this with me??

Here's an idea:

Here's another one:

I don't think you're entirely crazy... Just be sure to weigh on it before you go and compare it to your at-home scale, so that you can account for any variation. All scales don't weigh the same.

I've never tried these, btw, so I have no idea how good they are.

Anyway to see if the hotel has one? Sure it would be different than your at home one but I cant think it would be off that much. Have a good trip in any case! And no I would take mine to :)
