Back after a year...

So I'm back...with new determination. I lost about 35-40 lbs last year, going from 211 to 171 at one point. I'm pleased to say that I've been able to maintain my weight better than I thought. I'm now right at 175 even though I've REALLY fallen off the diet bandwagon here these past 6 months or so--pretty much eating whatever I wanted.

I just got out of a relationship though and I've decided I need to kick it back up a notch and get closer to my goal weight. I've sort of been moping around these past several weeks...I haven't really dressed up or done much as far as appearance goes and now I'm starting to feel frumpy at age 23(24 this month). I know just what would make me feel better though --- and that's to look better!! The scale says I haven't gained weight these past few weeks, but I feel like my clothes don't fit as well or look as good on me lately and that's bugging me! How do you stay the same weight and look worse?? Any way, I really want to hit 165-160 because I remember looking and feeling good at that weight several years ago. So... wish me luck!

This has happened to me before! I think after I stopped exercising I replaced some of the muscle I had gained with fat, and stayed the same weight even though I got bigger. Gah!

Best of luck to you.

Welcome back and good luck! :D

You did well to maintain most of your loss, since you have been gone. It seems that you have some good skillz. :D
