1200 is too low. Especially if you are working out. I'd start bringing it up gradually about 100 calories a day till you reach 1500 and stay there for a week or two and see how that works for loss.

I don't exercise, which is part of my problem. I am a full time student as well as work full time & have a 3 yr old, so finding time to get to the gym, is pretty much impossible! I'm kinda chilling around 1200 for now and when I hit my plateau, I plan on starting to work out 3 days a week (hopefully I can fit it in timewise) and then upping my cals to about 1500. I figure that will be a change for my body & will help it get over that plateau when it comes.

It's a struggle for me to keep my calories just below 1300. I try to settle around 1400-1500 and rarely go above 1500. I usually get hungry at night if I go below 1300. I also work out 3x a week, but only for 25 minutes (I'm still working on upping the exercise gradually).
