Newbie with a question.....

I thought that keeping my calories around 14000-1500 would be good for losing lbs for me....does that seem right?

I have been lurking on the bb's and tried to find those that were around my weight and height. I plan to start working out 3x's a week but I am pretty much on the go constantly, working 3 part time jobs and keeping up with my 7 yr old and a new puppy :dizzy:

Thanks in advance

Please read the Frequently Asked Questions sticky at the top of the Calorie Counting forum. It should answer all of your basic questions about calorie intake, etc.

It *seems* fine, but (and I know this sounds silly) you are the only person that can say for sure because you will (or won't) lose weight. It's in the recommended range for weightloss and you will *probably* lose, but you should give it time. Also, if you are working out 3x a week and depending on how strenuous your workouts are, you may need more calories (it's totally possible to stall because your calories are too low so your body is hanging on to it).

You do sound very busy!

ETA: I'm just going to go with Aphil ;) The sticky is very informative
