I have to say, I'm pretty happy with the free version of the Daily Plate. It's a major improvement over FitDay.

I used teh daily plate today. I liked it much better than spark people.

I don't know because I just use the free fitday.com that you already tried. So many people complain about the site and I just don't see why. I don't mind taking 30 seconds to enter a food if I never have to write it again and I know it's accurate. What are the other complaints about www.fitday.com?
Even if you go out to eat, you can find all the nutritional info online and it doesn't take long at all to enter new food. What am I missing that I shouldn't like? Just curious. Maybe some other sites are that much better... well, I guess the daily plate from statements on here. |
Photo Chick - was meaning like www.myfooddiary.com where they tally up sodium and a lot of info and give you tips, for example, that I didn't eat enough for breakfast or things like that?

Hi guys! I am a calorie counter, but so far I have only lurked here.
I use calorie-count.com. The food database is extensive, but you can also add custom foods if you can't find something. There is also a recipe analyzer. The best part for me, though, is that most foods have a letter grade attached, based on nutritional info. You can also do an analysis of your day and get a letter grade for that, too. It really appeals to the geek in me. :) |
