Anyone just use a plain old notebook to count calories?
I look in websites to get entree calories, look at the nutritional info on my food I prepare at home, and just keep a tally of my daily intake on my little notebook I keep in my purse. Best thing I ever did!

) I use a legal pad in a very nice portfolio that my husband got for work, but never used, so he gave it to me. It has a built in calculator and pen holder so it is easy for me to log my food and drink and keep a running total through the day. I could use one of the Internet food tracking sites or tools, but I really like having my journal beside me. The act of writing everything down and adding it up works best to keep me aware and on track.
