For me, the computer is perfect. I'm online most all day anyway, and I can enter things from a database and see totals and percentages and all kinds of things - automatically.
Yeah. I'm a geek. :)

I am more of a Star Wars/X-Files/Princess Bride kinda geek. ;)
I use a notebook...and I always buy a small, pretty one that will fit in my purse. I have tried to use Fitday, and some of the other online sites, and I simply do not like them. I travel for work sometimes (going to dance seminars, training sessions, performances, etc.) and I do not have computer access when I go. (I don't own a laptop.) My husband is a video gaming geek, and I can't log my calories in if he is in the middle of a 2 hour computer game marathon. So, I use my notebook.
When I must travel for work, and often stay in a hotel, and live out of a dance bag for 2 days-I simply pack the notebook, a calorie count book, and a few small sheets that I print off of the computer. If I know where I am going, and what restaurants are there, I will print of nutritional information and bring them along with me. Sometimes during the lunch/dinner breaks at the seminars, I go out with other dancers from other cities and catch up. It allows me to stay in control and keep track while I am away.
I also simply just LIKE to hand journal...I prefer it.
