Sweetners
I am getting different information from several sites and wondering if something has changed. Equal and Sweet N Low packets show up differently-everywhere from 0 calories to 8 calories a piece. Sure, not a big deal in the whole realm of things, but I have 10-20 of these a day so it could make a big difference on my counts. Anyone have current information for them?

I think your best bet would be to check the package of the "sweeteners" themselves and go with that calorie count.
Just curious...Have you heard of of tried stevia? |
Nutritional labeling states that if something has less than 5 calories, it is considered calorie free.
I believe that most of the little packets of artificial sweeteners have around 4 calories each. Those calories actually come from the bulking agent, rather than the sweetener itself. To be on the safe side, I would count 4-5 calories per packet. It does add up. |
If you only used one or two a day... I wouldn't worry about it. However, since you are using a lot of them, I would definitely track them. Four or five calories at a time can really add up. As I learned with my darling Crystal Light. :dizzy::D
