Thanks for all your tips, i think i'll experiment with making wraps that have laughing cow cheese in!
|
Laughing cow light cheese triangles are one of my favourite foods right now. I like to take some slices of lean mequite smoked deli turkey breast, spread a triangle of laughing cow light on them then roll them up. Really good. Oh two great cereals that have around 8 - 10g of protein per serving are Special K Protein and Kashi Go Lean, I like the Kashi mixed in yoghurt.

I love my Kashi cereal. I'm on the go a lot since I'm a student so I am guilty of having the occasional protein bar here and there. Atkins has a brand called "Simply Good" that are under 200 calories and have 10g of protein I believe. Usually it's my pre/post gym snack. Sometimes I'll have half of one right before I go to the gym and the other half right after. Pria by Powerbar is also decent because it's low calorie (170/bar) and quite tasty as well.
Raw almonds are a great source of protein and healthy fats. I've also done the protein shake thing but am not a big fan. Only in a pinch do I use it for breakfast. I'll do a scoop of whey protein isolate in a breakfast shake that contains fruit and yogurt. Breakfast is the hardest time for me to get my protein in so things like Kashi cereal or the occasional scoop of protein powder are key for me. |
