my calories per day question?

I am doing a 1400 cal a day diet and 1 hour 6 days a week of cardio, as well as weights. I am eating alot and feel full all good stuff (lean meats, fruits and veggies) am I too low in my calorie intake (5'2 200lbs) I am losing weight and I feel energized and full

Hey! I would say, if you are feeling energized and full, then that's OK, right where you are!

If you start feeling tired or hungry, then you could probably go up 100 cals and still keep losing.

:yes: What Jay and Chick in the Hat said.

But seriously, 1400 calories provide more then enough energy and nutrients for most people.

You are feeling good, satisfied and losing weight. I say don't fix what ain't broke. Though, if you find on any particular day that you are a bit hungrier, I wouldn't hesitate to add in 100 cals of some good healthy stuff.

Keep up the good work. :cheer2:

You are doing great! Everyone has their own comfort level, unfortunately mine is much higher and I'm losing pretty slow but 1500-1600 seems to keep me happy. It's amazing how all our bodies seem to lose weight in different ways. Kudos to you!

I'm doing 1400 too Nicci, I'm feeling full too and some day I don't even make it to the 1400 mark. I say stick with it, I know you said you have stayed at 200 for 5 days but sometimes it takes more then 5 days to get over the hump lol You are really doing great!
