Hey guys--
this may sound nerdy and health-freakish but I found a great tip for myself in terms of food. I count my calories every day while I'm trying to lose weight and was trying to figure out what I could substitute gum or a box of tic tacs while I was at work (I was also trying to figure out how to cut down on sugar too lol).
I then found a great substitute that really cuts down on the temptation for sugary snacks at work. I take two giant celery stalks, wash 'em, and then cut them into bite size pieces before carrying them around in a plastic bag in my pant pockets to pop in my mouth to chew whenever I need to at work.
They're only 8 or 9 calories per stalk (which could be the equivalent of several tic tacs or gum) and more healthier for ya to chew than sugar!
