Anyone Read Calorie Queens?
I am really happy to have found a place for good old fashioned calorie counting.
Actually I am using calorie points (not to be confused with Weight Watchers Points!), which is just a simple conversion of calories into points for ease of counting. I also have on order the book Calorie Queens. This book is based on eucalorics, which means eating your maintenance calories NOW. I know it's a different concept, but it's something I can live with. No more intense hunger from low calorie diets! I've tried every plan under the sun and good old-fashioned calorie counting was the ONLY thing that truly worked for me in the long-run. |
I am a calorie counter, too. I have seen the Calorie Queens site, I found it intriguing but haven't tried it. I may do it for maintenance. I would like to hear from someone who has used it for losing.

Calorie Queens used to be pretty popular on this board, but I personally have never read it. I think a lot of the ideas in it translate easily into most of the different kinds of calorie counting plans people here are doing.
Good luck with it, sounds like you have a good start. |
