I eat fruit for breakfast... and sometimes some scrambled egg whites

I usually have a high fiber english muffin w a tablespoon of PB
or a low-fat low sugar yogurt mixed with a serving of granola (we like Bear Naked Fruit & Nut)

I'm a busy college student too...

I know you said cereal doesn't fill you up. I used to have the same problem. Then I was put on a high-fiber diet by my doc and I started eating Fiber One cereal. I hate the regular bran version. But they have Fiber One Honey Clusters (which is sweetened flakes with clusters) and Fiber One Rain Bran honey clusters. They have 13 and 11 g of fiber, respectively. I eat this with a sliced apple and 1 tbsp PB. This keep me reeeeally full for at least 3 to 4 hours.

1 scrambled egg--yes, a whole egg, not egg white--or 1 boiled egg, served on
1 piece of whole grain toast
1 medium sized peach (or its equivalent in other fruit)

Right around 250 cals, very satisfying. 11 gms protein, 32 gms carbs, 8 gms fats.

I'm awful, I don't like doing breakfast (I'll start eating around 10am maybe). But, oatmeal is a good one, especially if you're eating from home and can add some low-calorie fruit in there (strawberries, blueberries, melon...). Adding fruit to your cereal might help spice things up too. Or a good low-fat yogurt with some fruit, or low-fat yogurt plain (I can't eat dairy anymore, but this was a fav long ago). Or scrambled egg whites, by itself or on a single toasted whole wheat piece of bread.

They say you're supposed to eat most of your calories in the morning, if you don't like that you might try waiting to eat (I find the earlier I eat I just get hungrier sooner) and having a late breakfast around 10am, and then with lunch coming up sooner might be easier to have a lighter breakfast.

It's kinda nasty looking but I think it tastes good..1/2 c plain nonfat yogurt, 1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese stirred up with a tablespoon of sugar free jam. Lots of calcium and a good dose of protein as well. Around 170 calories, 20 g of protein.
I also like smoothies in the summer, wheat toast with natural peanut butter, whole grain waffles, oatmeal (I mix my own, not the stuff that's all ground up.) The regular old fashioned oatmeal only takes like 3 minutes in the micro. Toss in a 1/2 an apple, some splenda and cinnamon...:T
