ick. Our day goes something like this: 5:30am - bowl of cereal, 10:00am McDonald's for breakfast, 1:00pm rest stop for lunch, 4pm Cheese factory, arrive 6:30pm (dinner at 7:30pm).In the car, we bring sandwiches, carrots, grapes, goldfish crackers. My DH and I take turns driving, 3hrs. each.
I am looking for suggestions for snacks that I can eat in the car. When the family is eating cheese/smoked sausage, what could I snack on that won't make me feel deprived? When the kids & dh are having a sandwich while I'm driving or eating goldfish while I'm driving, what could I eat?
I will take care of the dog when they go into McDonald's and the cheese factory and I can bring a healthy sandwich to eat at the rest stop. But, I know from past experience that when they start passing around the goldfish or the cheese & smoked sausage, I'll be wanting some too.
I'm struggling to lose every ounce, and I don't want to undo all the hard work of the last few weeks!
Thanks for any and all suggestions!
