Need some calorie advice!
I've been using The Daily Plate to log my calories each day, however, I don't log my exercise. So I'm not sure what to put for my activity level...? I go to the gym 5 mornings a week and spend 30 minutes weight lifting. I go back 3-4 afternoons a week and do 30 minutes of cardio, and am trying to increase my cardio. So should I choose lightly, moderately, very, or extremely active? I originally chose lightly, and it recommended I have 1231 calories a day, so that's what I've been doing the past few weeks.
I know ya'll can't tell me exactly how many calories I should be eating, I think it's one of those things I'll just have to figure out on my own, but was interested to get some input. Thanks guys! |
I would say you are moderately active, verging on very active. Once you up your cardio, I'd say you are very active.
