question
well to day it was raining so i worked out to a walk away the pounds tape
was the super high cal burn 3 mile one. this took me 60 min to do and and i would say it was at least at 5mph. was really a great work out. so i went to list my activities on fit day and it says that i only burned 231 cals at 4.5 they did not have a choice for 5mph then i went and checked on 3fc and it says 498 at 4.5 mph. why the difference in the 2. but was a good work out i almost felt my but get smaller...lol:carrot: |
Everyone's body (and metabolism) are different. That being said those calculators are averages (I'm not sure why fitday/3FC are so different in their numbers.) Your body may be burning more, it may be burning less.

If you did the super-high-burn 3 mile tape, and it took 60 minutes, doesn't that mean you walked 3 miles per hour?

At your size, you probably burn about 90 calories a mile walking or approximately 110 when running. I'm confused about the 3 miles vs 5 miles thing, too ... but if you covered 3 miles, I'd call it approximately 300 calories or if 5 miles, then about 500, give or take a bit.

i guess i was thinking at it the wrong way. it was 3 mile walking dvd. but the pace you do it at is alot more then 3mph it is not like if you were walking out side. just going to put 300 cals i am sure i am thinking to hard about it;)
