ok, i wanted to see why my weight has not changed in almost 3 weeks. i decided to use fitday to see how many calories i ate in a day. per my height and weight i should be eating at least 2000 cal a day to lose. yesterday i only ate 1400 cals and today was only 742. i am so full and cannot eat another bite. I eat breakfast ( usually high fiber cereal w/ blueberries and nonfat milk) snack( slice of flourless bread toasted w/ icbinb) lunch ( salad w/ tuna or a meal replacement bar: 210 cal) snack ( 1/2 apple) and then i am stuffed. i managed to eat a hog dog dipped in mustard just to up the cals but i can't force anything else. i guess i am wondering does anyone else have this problem of not eating enough. what am i doing wrong. i also drink plenty of water and work out at least 45 mins a day, either dancing or walking. any advice i do appreciate
I have read a few posts like this but can't say I relate at all. I could eat 742 in a meal and a snack, easily! I cannot understand feeling "stuffed' on so few calories and so little food. Are you taking any medications? Have you always been this way?
If you are looking to "up" your calories, why not go for something healthy in lieu of a hot dog? A slice of flourless bread with almond butter (or peanut butter) and sliced banana is lovely.
i have always eaten this way. i never eat enough. my metabolizm stalls and i am fat. lol. i wasn't hungry so that's why i grabbed the hot dog. i didn't have the bun. i just don't know.
Perhaps you should talk to your doctor to see if maybe there is a medical problem getting in the way?
I agree that you should talk to a doc first to see if there's anything abnormal affecting your metabolism.
My other advice is to maybe up the calories, on so few calories your body may be resisting weight loss, thinking that it's starving.
