newbie!
Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself and give some of my background.
I'm 24 and have been working on weight loss for what feels like a million years--since 6th grade, probably. I was pretty serious about it in 2003 (I know this because it was the last time I signed onto fitday-eek) and I'm getting back into it again now. I started in the middle of the summer trying to drop weight by cutting out some of my junk food and getting in more exercise on a regular basis. My weight loss hasn't stalled, exactly, but I've decided to actively count my calories to try to see precisely what I'm consuming in a day. I started yesterday and today, and boo!, I am taking in way more calories than I thought I was. Good thing I have fitday to keep me accountable now! So question about the forum: I noticed there seems to be subgroups within the forum...are those separate groups? Can I join those too? Thanks! |
