Banana Pancakes
My mom makes these and I modifed them for SB. They are very good. They almost taste like a banana muffin. I don't put sf syrup on them...but my bf does. I put a little agave and they are perfect. Hope you like them! They are very moist.
2 servings -about 6 palm size pancakes INGREDIENTS 1/3 cup whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon splenda - more if you want it really sweet 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 egg, beaten 1/3 cup 1% milk 2 teaspoons oil 2 ripe :cb: bananas mashed - I use really small ones DIRECTIONS Combine flour, splenda, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil, and mashed bananas. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be slightly lumpy. Heat griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. I used PAM to coat. Scoop the batter onto the griddle, I use a 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook pancakes until golden on both sides. ENJOY! |
This sounds scrumptious, xGirlyGrls! Thanks for sharing the recipe with us. I bet it would be great with some chopped pecans stirred into the batter, too!
