Any advice for preparation for and recovery from abdominoplasty ?

Hi all

I am lucky enough to be in the queue for abdominoplasty, and wanted to ask for anyone's experience as to what helps before and after the op. I am going to try to improve my 'core' muscles, and to boost my immune system. I am a bit anxious about the soreness afterwards - especially as my extremely loving cats will have to be kept off my lap for a bit or I will be in agony!
