Unhappy Help me! im a newbie!

Hello everyone!
I have a question about loose skin as a result of weightloss. I know that it has probably been discussed but i'm afraid none of it has quite answered my quesions. So anyway, here it is:

I am a 21 year old female who has been overweight most of my life. Over the last year due to being in an unhappy relationship and suffering with my mental overall wellbeing I gained even more weigh (YIKES) and then I realised that it was time to change.

So amazingly over the last 5 months, I have gone down from 120.5 kgs (265 ponds) to 89 kgs (196 pounds) and am aiming to lose another 19kgs. I have done this in the healthy way, eating healthily, sleeping regularly and exercising everyday, so for some reason my body has just decided to lose weight quickly.

With this info in mind, I have a few questions:
1. How likely is it that I will be left with masses of excess skin?
2. Any advice on how to help minimise the chances?
3. How can you tell if you are getting excess skin and
3. How likely is it that it would go back on its own?

Thank you heaps guys <3

You've lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. If you aren't seeing a lot of loose skin so far, that's a good sign. But it's a genetic roll of the dice - no one can really advise you, because the result is unique to you. It helps to be young. In general, creams and other things that claim to help loose skin don't really work. A lot of what people think is loose skin is a combination of fat and skin. In the bathtub, if the skin just kind of floats up to the top, it's loose skin.

Your skin will continue to tighten up some after you're done losing weight - give it a few months, it takes time to bounce back. But no, there's really nothing you can do and no one else can really help predict what will happen. But congrats on losing weight so far and good luck.

Being 19 helps a lot nthr only thing I can suggest is really slowing down the weightloss. Instead of losing 40lbs in 4months do it in a year. This gives your body time to adjust, and also ensures that your weightloss is most likely permanent. The faster you lose the higher the chances you will regain. And the regain and lose (yoyoing) is what will really mess up your metabolism - your skin is an organ, it's part of your metabolism.

My congratulations with such a great weight loss! Wonderful job! Well if you do not see or feel extra skin on your body right now, you won't see or feel it in the future! So do not worry about that! I amsure if you could have problems you would see that already)
