    Also, Happy Belated Birthday!
  • Yay! So glad all is well! I'm excited for you. I have to ask though... Big panties? You are smaller? And if you are comfortable I'd love to see pics (you can inbox)
  • Adding my wishes for a continued speedy recovery! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

You aren't allowed to have any constriction near the incision so I bought size 7 Hanes briefs. Normally I wear size 6 bikinis. My doctor said it would ideal to have less constricting waist band so I bought size 8 briefs. They are pretty big hahaha but just for a few weeks until I am better healed. I will inbox you my pics
  • So excited and happy for you, underwater! Best wishes for a speedy, painless recovery! Can't wait to see your updated pics when you are all healed up!
  • Do you have to wear a binder? My dr requires a body suit for something like 2 months post op
  • Ahhhh. the dreaded binder! I hated that effing thing!!
  • Cherry pie would you be comfortable sending me pics? And who your surgeon was

Yes I wear a binder with a foam pad underneath. It's kind of like a giant ace bandage and goes from right under my boobs down to my hips.

It's not so bad but I'm a little sad I can't really start wear form fitting stuff til it's gone since it's bulky.
  • How are you feeling?

Dean DeRoberts was my surgeon in Syracuse, NY.

I have tons of befores and afters on my blog, but most specifically here:

Thank you so much for sharing. I always feel reassured after seeing such great outcomes

I'm feeling good. Tired since I woke up about 15 min ago. Sleeping is difficult, since I'm a side sleeper trying to sleep on my back in a recliner. I still can't lay flat (or stand up straight) and it could be another week or 2 like this. I haven't been able to sleep through the night yet.

Tuesday I go back to work but I am planning to work a half day, maybe a little longer. I have been taking 2-3 naps during the day.

I am trying to go from the Norco pain med to Tylenol only today
  • Wait how many days out will you be when you return to work

I go back to work on day 11, maybe just a half day depending how I feel
