Congrats CherriePie! I followed your blog all the way to the day of my surgery. 10 May 2012. I'm home healing but feel I've known what to expect all along the because of you. I had a massive hernia & that is causing greater discomfort. I took your lead on the pain pump. So glad I did.

All this hard work is even better.

I didn't have the the 360. I was scheduled for a panniculectomy with hernia repair & muscle tightning. When I woke up from anesthesia my doctor told me that I ended up pretty much have a full abdominalplasty as my hernia was so big he had to remove additional skin to compensate for the abdominal skin. I looked 7 months pregnant because of the hernia. 10 days out & I'm still having trouble getting up. I tire easy & am quite uncomfortable right before the meds.

Hi CherryPie! Recovery is going ok. It's 2 weeks out today. I still have two of my drains, a center one and a left one over my left thigh. Saw doc today. He removed some staples but left about half. I am still 50 pounds away from a normal weight so they take different precautions. I feel like in these past two weeks I've been living in a different world.
