to tummy tuck or lipo, that's the question..

  • Ok, so I'm pretty new to the forum. One question, I"m not sure if any of you could answer but its always nice to get an opinion.

When is a good time to get plastic surgery? My problem is, is that since I've lost weight I still have this belly pooch thing that has this indent thing about 3inches below my belly button. So I don't know if I should even consider a tummy tuck or lipo. Or should I just wait and see if it resolves if I lose more weight. Same thing for my hips/love handles. I seem to have this constant muffin top, only its a smaller muffin. I know for a fact that when the time comes I'm going to get laser treatments to reduce the stretch marks on my hips.
  • When did you lose the weight? What's your bodyfat percentage?
Skin definitely needs time to tighten up. Also, check your bodyfat percentage. Skin has a lot fat attached so if you bodyfat % is high it will be saggy and a muffin top. If you develop muscles (strength training) and decrease your bodyfat you won't have much of a problem anymore.
Try eating lots of protein and strength training.
