Another Boobs Question
Hello All:
I was thinking about this whole diet/exercise thing yesterday and I recalled the theory that when you lose weight the first things to go are your boobs. Now I know from previous posts that this is not always the case as far as cup size goes, but it still got me thinking. I don't have a great deal of weight to lose - I'm currently 136, down from 140. I would eventually like to get down to 120 and see how I feel there. But I'm terrified of losing my boobs! I know, I know, a very common fear, but here's the catch, I don't have much to lose! I am currently a 34AA - you can't get much smaller than that! I think that this fear is what had me being so flaky about dieting/exercise in the past. I know that I will be healthier without the excess weight hanging around and look more in proportion (i.e. upper body is size 2, but get past the belly button and all of a sudden I'm a size 10), but I can't help but feel that somehow I'll be less of a woman minus the little bit of boobs that I do currently have. Anyone go through anything similar? PaniAnia |
Do you think you would look better and feel better at 120? It is possible you could lose weight in your chest but you could also focus on some upper body exercises to help shape your upper body. I've seen very good looking slim girls with small chests and they can carry it well.

I had 65 lbs to lose. lost 16, all boobs.
I am sad |
All the women in my family lose the boobs first. I lose form the head down. but and hips are the last to go.

Yes, you can get smaller than 34AA, I'm a 32A! I'm also a pear by nature, so whatever fat I have left sticks right to the hips and thighs. My strategy is strength training my upper body -- to visually balance out the upper and lower half and give more of an hourglass shape effect. That, and wear a bra with a little light padding.
The only comfort I can share is that even though the fat seems to come off the upper body first, the lower body loses fat too! We actually shrink proportionally, I think, so if we start out as a pear, we're still a pear after, just a smaller one!! Then the only way to reshape ourselves is through exercise and strength training over time. The weight loss is worth it though!! And I really don't mind being small on top, I'd rather be too small than having the discomfort of being too big. There are tons of really cute summer tops you can wear if you're small on top and have nicely toned/defined arms and shoulders. And I just wear dark colors on the bottom ..... ;) |
I lost a lot of boob, but for some reason it doesn't bother me. Went from a 42DD at 241, now at 165 I'm a 36C. I'm working building up my pecs a little more to keep what I have left better supported.
