Losing a couple things....

I've really only just begun my weight loss and I'm only down about 10 lbs, but already I've noticed my chest-al area is shrinking quite a bit, much to my dismay. I'm really worried it's going to get worse and I will be left with no boobage, or at least saggy ones. I know lifting weights can help, but is there anything else I can do?

A lot of people (including myself!) seem to lose fat from the head down. So the face and then the chest are the first to show changes.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do to change the way the fat comes off. Generally, it's "first on, last off" -- which means our problem areas are usually the last to go. :p

Lifting weights can build up the muscle in your chest that supports your boobs but can't increase or maintain their actual size because boobs are fat and tissue, not muscle. Darn it!

But the good news is that fat loss tends to even out in the end, so even if you feel disproportionate now, hang in there and by the time you reach your goal, everything should be balanced. :)

And welcome! :welcome3:

I lose weight from my head down to my chest first.
Then my legs up to my butt
I haven't been able to get to the middle......... yet

me too!! My stomach (around the belly button) area hasn't gone down but one-half inch after 35 pounds! But my body surely used up extra 'chest' fat first :( which made me a little saggy (and i'm only 22!!) And it seems to be creeping off ever so slowly everywhere else other than the tube around my waist. :) But eventually the body will burn off the tummy fat, I just have to be *gulp*.... patient. :dizzy:
