Just had to pat myself on the back. I didn't get home from work until after 7PM. I teach kindergarten and had been on my feet all day. I was mentally and physically exhausted and starving because I hadn't eaten since 11 AM. I was going to do a DVD, but I decided to push my way through Jillian's frontside circuit. Now I can stay on track and do the backside tomorrow and finish with step on Sunday. Then it's on to week 7!!!!

tynee depending on the week, but it always takes longer than 30 min. Week one is taking me about 45, 9 and 10 to me almost an hour and a half. Lot's of other folks here say the same thing about the length of time and I just don't get it. I don't rest between sets, I do the recommended sets and repetitions.

Anyway shaunarae, I'll give you a pat on the back too.. You are pushing on through and I bet you felt the better for it. I workout in the a.m. and I get up at 4 a.m. twice a week. I don't work Thursday so I can sleep later then and on weekends when I do the other 2 days. But I know, it is a sacrifice but it has a big pay off.

I am at my planned yoga/walk day instead of day 3 tomorrow. I am starting to freak out at how much I am messing with the plan and on the other hand I am so excited that I am going to be doing my great yoga tape. I am going to do it this week and then see how I feel about continuing on this new path.

Well, it is on to week 7. I have a friend who began week 7 yesterday and she said the first workout makes you either want to cry or puke. Now that is a little bit scary. The step plyos are suppose to be hard too. I'm suppose to up my weights on everything too. I need to get myself psyched up and prepare for another hard week.

Shaunarae - I have no doubt you'll be up the challenge. I actually started enjoying everything more as it got harder. I was really worried about those step-plyos but was able to do them and was awfully proud of myself as well as surprised that I could. I did my yoga day on Sat. It was good, had more muscle soreness yesterday from that workout than you would think. I hiked yesterday. Made the mistake of inviting a friend. While I enjoyed her company and our visit, it wasn't the workout I get when I am by myself. Seemed my whole weekend was kind of like that, lots of social activity with little accomplished. Now that I am back at work that takes a toll. Anyway, I was back to the WBL workout this a.m. It's a little harder to report in now that I am fooling around with the schedule but I am still on week 1. Tomorrow is a rest day and then I'll have 2 more workouts in week 1 before moving on.

Have a good Monday everyone. It's rainy and cold down south this a.m. Unusual for we have had a mild winter up until now.

Well, I'm about to find out about the step plyos. I'm getting psyched up to do Week 7 day 1 today. I'll let you know what I think of them.

Just finished my workout. The step plyos were not bad to me at all. I think because I do step so often. This workout was a killer. Mainly because I increased the weights and now you have to do the jumping jacks for 90 seconds and then she has you do jumping jacks again with weights for 90 seconds. These are done back to back between circuit 3 and circuit 4. That was about the death of me. I can't believe how adding weights to the jumping jacks makes such a huge difference. I'm done and glad I did it. I have today off because I have a doctor's appointment. I'm not sure I could have done this workout after having been at work all day. I did it first thing this morning. Thanks for cheering me on and believing in me.

It helps to remember that cussing is encouraged...if not required...at least by me. It makes watching the BL contestants faces during workouts even more entertaining. Now we can truly say "I feel your pain".

Shauna, wow week 7!! You keep on movin' girl
Ledom, thanks for the info on the circuit workout time. I now that my tempo is 1:0:1 - and maybe that is why. I find if I go any slower my heart rate drops, and right now if I increase weights my form will be compromised. So for this week I have incorporated some cardio intervals after each completed circuit to keep my heartrate up and bring my workout to the 1hr mark, with warmup and cool down of course.

I have not even attempted to weigh in because TOM came for a visit since yesterday. I know I retain a lot of water, and I don't want to discourage myself. I am happy that I am in my 4th week of doing some kind of Jillian's workouts - I feel awesome and my clothes fit so much better !!!

Thanks so much for listening (rather, reading) - I talk too much.... I know

Hope you all have an awesome day!!

Wow! I'm down 1.5 pounds since yesterday. It has got to be the tough workout I did yesterday. I really pushed myself to new limits. I'm so excited. This is exactly the motivation that I need to do today's backside workout. Thank you, Jillian!

Hey guys! Way to go Shauna - don't you love it!

Well I finished week one repeat today. I believe I'll go on to weeks 3 and 4 now. I enjoyed the decreased cardio, but think I need to step it up rather than stay here another week. I am playing it by ear now, but I might just do each change one week until I get back up to the heavier workout weeks.

Yay Shauna!!! You go girl

Ledom - I have only been doing Jillians book workout for a week, while these past 3 weeks I have been doing her DVD's. I feel so strong, and am amazed at how my endurance just gets better week by week!! I can only imagine how you must feel, and the level of fitness you are at. Wow, keep kicking butt Ledom, you are doing awesome!!

As for me, I do have major DOMS on all my backside muscles!! LOL
Seeing how TOM is here, I will be taking today off - its my day off but I usually do my yoga - and simply rest up...

Have a great day y'all!!

Tynee and Shaunarae....you girls are kicking BUTT!!! Keep up the great workouts!!

I'm still faithfully working out but have cut down some of the Jillian circuits. I hurt my shoulder awhile back and feel a 'clicking' when I do flies and some of the larger arm movements. STill on the treadmill though, and doing really well. CARDIO BABY!!!
