Thanks Nightkatt and Kris for your words about the drama.

I took a peek at the weigh-in thread and we seem to be rockin' it this week. Woohoo! Finally! Go Team Red! :cheer2:

I also looked at the exercise thread and dangerouscurves76 is working out like 4 hours a day! Holy crap! You go, girl. I wish I had the time and energy for that.

Novus I took a peek too, we are having an amazing weigh in so far, well done everyone!
Kat thank you, I only slept a couple of hours, so hopefully I will sleep again tonight.
DC your exercise diary is so impressive!

It's exciting to see so much activity on this thread. CONGRATS to everyone who had a loss this week! Red Team Rocks!! :grouphug:

After struggling earlier in the week, with what turned out to be just severe allergies, I'm feeling great! Taking my new meds and making sure to get enough sleep.

Weighed myself this morning and discovered that I only loss 0.5 lb. I have mixed emotions about not losing more. One one hand, I knew that was going to happen. I ate mostly on plan but countless bowls of soup and saltine crackers (tons of salt) probably did me in. So yes...I was working out like a beast and drinking tons of water to flush out the extra salt. But I still didn't lose as much as I wanted. Frustrated but determined to move forward! :)

Quick note about my workouts. I've always loved endurance running but I've been plagued by injuries the last two years. Sadly, I had to give up marathon training.

So for the first time ever, I'm listening to my physical therapist and including yoga and Pilates into my schedule. Which means getting up 30 mins earlier and doing an hour of stretching or weight training in the morning. And then doing cardio at night instead of vegging on the couch with a glass of wine. (my favorite guilty pleasure) So really I'm exchanging one bad habit (#1 couch potato) for a super fun, healthy habit (one woman dance party in my living room). :dancer:

Big thanks to everyone for your support the last couple weeks! It's amazing how a few kind words keeps you motivated when you're struggling to keep it together.

So, where are the Week 4 threads? Apparently we failed so badly in Week 3 that our moderators have given up on us and fled. ;)

MissSMcC 05-19-2014 10:46 AM

 Novus I'm sure they will be along soon

Was wondering the same thing! :dizzy: Seriously, this is my third time logging on today and still no threads. Praying my nosey co-worker doesn't rat me out. LOL.

I think they alternate weeks and this would be Rated's week. She hasn't been around at all lately. Wasn't she getting married or something?

DC, hope you didn't get busted surfing the 'net at work! ;)

I'm bored out of my mind today. My immune system is kicked into high gear fighting off something so I'm trying to lie low - switched around my work schedule to take the day off, not excercsing, etc. I know my body and I know this is what I have to do to not get sick but.....gah! :dizzy: Maybe I should go shopping. :D
