Novus - 1.8 again for you! You are doing great! I hit 1.8 this week also! I'm doing low carb, healthy eating also and we seem to have similar plans. I need to check your cooking ideas. I'll try to talk more on chat.

Buddha - Hope you are still with us. You can do this!

Rated - Remember back in the day we had a friendly challenge going? I think it was on Sarge's thread. I miss the carolina girl, can't remember her name. She was good for getting everyone on track.

Dangerous Curves - Hope you were able to stay steady this weekend! We could use some weight loss on this team!

Nlauah - Good for you - back to exercising. Don't worry about the scale, probably just a little muscle/water weight.

Jumzy - Stopping at 6 pm is a great idea. Evenings are my hard time too. Sometimes brushing my teeth helps me not eat in the evenings.

We have to keep the Red members we have - there were so few to start! Don't forget to weigh-in today!

Everyone - Check out Novus's weekly eating on the nutrition thread. She rocks in the food department! So much imagination - so much variety - so many recipes - and very healthy eating! I am inspired and hope to learn a lot from her.

It's weigh-in day!
 
Hi all! :wave:

After running around for two days trying to keep my visiting family members entertained, I woke up this morning dreading the scale. Gave myself a pep talk and stepped on. Same weight as last week! :dizzy:

Yes, I'm bummed that I didn't post a loss. But super excited that with all the distractions, temptations, and pms hunger pangs; I somehow managed to not gain weight. Good news for me, not so great for the team. No worries though, I promise to kick it up a notch next week.

Plans for Week 3: continue to drink more water, no food after 9 pm, add treadmill running to workout schedule, and daily meal prep the night before.

Let's go RED TEAM! We can do this! :grouphug:

Hey guys! Apologies for the 2lb gain :mad: was not my best week. No excuses, my off plan day turned into 4 days, but I am back OP and will do better next weigh in I promise :) I hope everyone is doing well xx

Novus - I agree that in the past the chat has been a lot more active. I can't speak for anyone else but I have been so busy with work the last few weeks. By the time I get home, make dinner, walk my dog and do my workout I am usually headed straight to bed. I will make more of an effort to get on this thread daily and contribute because I think it helps me stay on track. Also there isn't a rule that you have to participate in the chat thread but if you want a chance to be the biggest loser at the end you must have regularly posted in the chat thread.

I am also going to check out your nutrition posts since I would like to eat lower carb for breakfast and lunch at least.

Kris - yes I remember you from Sarge's thread. I wish that thread was still around because I loved the no excuses tough love stance.

Hi everyone .. so sorry for being AWOL .. its been havoc at my new job and time online has been more limited than I usually have ... but will try to get back on track again .. fortunately Mothers Day has passed and I have been told that things should be calming down at work now (hopefully!).
