Blue Team Fall into Fitness 2013 Exercise Thread Week 1 (10/06/13 - 10/13/13)

  • For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs!     Thursday- walk A LOT today. Bunches of yard sales.
    Friday- had company so no exercise other than some ticep extensions
    Saturday- 30 minute walk, resistance band exercises, Squats (can't remember how many)

  • Monday- Small light walks--walked 1 mile throughout the day (pulled back muscle)
    Tuesday- walked 0 miles
    Wednesday- walked 0 miles
    Thursday- walked 1 mile
    Friday- walked o miles
    Saturday- walked 2 miles
    Sunday- walked 2 miles AM; 2 1/2 miles PM

    Tuesday- 1 hr P3 Class (slowed down Pulse Class with use of 3 lbs dumbells - more toning)
    Wednesday- 1 hr Pulse Fitness Class
    Thursday- rest day
    Friday- vacation day - walked around covered bridge festival for 4-5 hours
    Saturday- 1 hr Pulse Fitness Class
    Sunday- rest day, just usual, dishes, laundry type around the house
